4/28 1:24 pm On one of Dads planes
So, I was in school when all of the sudden I get called into the Principal’s office. I kept asking what I had done, but no one was answering me.
I thought that maybe the Principal found put that Tessa Morales was the one that put the frog – the frog we where supposed to dissect in science class- in her car. (Okay so what if I was involved in that. It was going to be a harmless April fool’s prank, I didn’t know she was allergic to frogs.)
Anyways, after about 15 minutes of me waiting there, my dad got there and said that there was a family emergency and we had to catch a plane and leave immediately.
That’s how I got on this plane and am going to a small town names something like Mayberry, for a family emergency that I have no idea about.
Oh, Dad says the town is called Oddity. Oops, he says it’s actually Odyssey.
Wait, isn’t that a place in Greece?
I just googled it. It’s still in good old USA. Well I’ll be back because I’m hungry.

We just got a milkshake from this place called Whits End.
Well, as you know, I absolutely HATE awkward situations, especially involving family. So I finally asked, “Dad, what’s the family emergency?”
And this is what he had to say:
“Honey, the family emergency is that your half sister called me to tell me that her mother, my first wife June, died.”
My half sister!
!!!!!!
“I have a half sister?!” I couldn’t help but scream.
“Jules don’t scream”
“But why didn’t you tell I had a half sister?”
“I didn’t think you would be interested.”
I absolutely hated the awkwardness of this moment, so I put my headphones on and put my music on full blast.
In fact I’m still doing that. Oh we just pulled into a drive way.
